Crazy Christmas Socks Campaign a Huge Success!

Back in November, we asked you to help the Make a Wish Foundation by purchasing our Crazy Christmas Socks. You came through for us—and the kids—beyond anything we could have hoped for.

The results have been tallied and the numbers are in. Are you ready?

  • Altogether 532 pairs of socks were bought.
  • We raised $4,256.00 in total for the kids!

Making Dreams Come True

The Make-A-Wish® foundation grants the wishes of children suffering from life-threatening medical conditions. The money will go to help kids like Vinessa, 12, who lived her dream of seeing London. Avery, a little boy of 6, wanted a hot tub of his own. Matthew, 7, wanted to meet his hero, Sidney Crosby. These kids hope to beat the odds, and hopefully the joy they get from the program will help them do it.

“We are very thankful to Ottawa Home Services for this wonderful donation and for their ongoing support of our wish-granting mission,” said Katherine Toms, Coordinator, Communications & Marketing for the Make-A-Wish® Eastern Ontario.

Let’s Do Even Better Next Year

Ottawa Home Services’ Marc Hannah was also delighted with the results, and promised another campaign next year to help the kids. “We look forward to this time next year when we hope to exceed this year’s contribution, and thanks to everybody who has purchased any of these AWESOME socks.”

If you or someone you know could use a little more colour in your life, be sure to check back with us next November for another chance at some Crazy Socks. You’ll be giving some children living with terrible conditions a chance to experience something magical.
